this is a link to a calculator that can tell you what stats to go for to get max heal efficiency depending on your current gear and spec. http://www.geocities.com/cathos111/index.html

heres a link to the post I found it on if you have truble understanding. http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/threa ... post836625 (http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.aspx?fn=wow-druid&t=836625&p=1&tmp=1#post836625)

My results are --

Total Healing = 38863.08847564948
+1 spirit = 34.23238094428234
+1 mana/5 = 156.08919782974408
+1 int = 113.54622655526327
+1 healing = 29.339490016347554

so... for me

1 mana/5 = 1.375 int = 5.32 healing = 4.56 spirit

This means I should stack up on int and mana/5 to balance things out, right?

I disagree.

For fights that will actually cause me to run out of mana, that may be true, but in general, I don't see how you can beat +healing for sheer heal capacity in short time situations, and +healing is the only stat of the 4 that is reverse compatible in that respect. +healing lets you rank down to save mana while maintaining adequate healing, OR lets you pump out bigger heal values faster. Without mana as an issue, as it isn't in most fights, especially with all of us having innervate soon, I just still don't think you can beat +healing.

Its not exactly that, its something more like a guide between certain pieces or something. Like if you wanted to get a bracer enchant and couldnt choose between healing and mana per 5, then according to ur stats you would still get the healing. You have to factor in exact stats before you can totally throw the idea out the window.

I see your point.

I think I'm just a little too rabid about the value of +healing sometimes.
